Students of Classes IX and X from Delhi Public Senior Secondary School visited Government Medical College, Barmer as part of an educational tour on 19th March 2026.

During the visit, students explored various laboratories and learned about modern medical equipment and hospital operations. Experts at the college explained important medical concepts through digital presentations, making complex topics easy to understand.

The students also observed how doctors diagnose and treat patients, which helped them gain a deeper understanding of healthcare systems and medical ethics. A major highlight of the visit was seeing real human organs preserved in glass jars as specimens, including diasection which sparked curiosity and interest among the students.

The visit proved to be highly informative and inspiring, giving students valuable insights into the medical field and encouraging many to consider careers in healthcare. They learn practical knowledge is more important then theoretical learning.
